This California based band is most likely to be the first heavy band that you have heard on the radio. Linkin Park has been the most happening band as we grew up. During the release of their debut album, they were known as Xero, in 1999 they changed their name to Hybrid Theory and in 2000 they released an album of that name and again changed their name to Linkin Park and it went on to be one of the greatest Nu Metal /Alt-rock names worldwide. Last year their frontman and the pioneering vocalist Chester Bennington died. But the band is said to return and continue touring to keep their work alive and going.

They came to prominence during the late 80s  with their album 39/Smooth and went on to do more than a few memorable shows, tours and 13 studio albums that gave us many playlist constants like, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, American Idiot, Holiday, etc. Some of their most famous songs are “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”, “21 Guns”, “Wake me up when September ends”, “American Idiot” and many more.

They are the originators of Metal genre. This Heavy metal band hails from then, war-stricken city of Birmingham, England. Guitarist Tony Iommi formed a band named Earth along with Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and their new vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. Black Sabbath was the name they came up with after the release their self-titled album Black Sabbath in 1969 which is considered the first Heavy Metal album that paved way for generations of Metalheads to come. Their singles like Paranoid, Iron Man, Black Sabbath, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath are considered heavy metal classics. In 2018 the band did their final world tour and retired. But their works are and always will be cherished.

Formed by Benjamin Burnley, the lineup of the band has seen several changes over time. Songs like “Dear Agony” and “Rain” speak directly to their audience. Whereas songs like “Diary of Jane” will make you headbang until the end of time.
