2. Waters, Vagator
Waters is another swish venue located on Vagator cliff. It has a stylish daytime beach club with a swimming pool, a lounge bar, and an all-day restaurant and grill. Waters has popular techno party nights on Fridays where you can party on 3 floors overlooking the ocean and inside the indoor soundproofed nightclub.
3. Curlies, South Anjuna Beach
Curlies is undoubtedly Goa’s most legendary beach shack and also one of the party hotspots in Goa. It is located near the Flea Market. By day the beach is great for lounging, by sunset Curlies really starts to come alive; they will serve you a huge menu covering all cuisines and a nice deck area on top to chill out or you can party under the florescent decor until the sun comes up. Thursday nights are a big psy-trance night, Mondays are techno and weekends are varied but Curlies is always a popular spot.
4. Chronicle, Vagator
Chronicle is an impressive multi-level venue and it will give you a stunning view of the ocean overlooking the rocky Vagator cliffs. Chronicle is a pretty fancy restaurant, cocktail bar and an open-air dance-floor that is spread across five levels and hosts regular, popular techno parties at weekends and other special events.
5. Shiva Valley, South Anjuna Beach
Shiva Valley is located just next to Curlies, and is renowned for its Tuesday trance parties starting from 5 p.m. It is known as the temple of trance. This large shack on South Anjuna Beach, next to Curlies, holds an ever popular all-night psy-trance party every Tuesday where hippies and ravers dance until sunrise on the shores of the Arabian Sea. This is one of the best places to hear old school Goan trance.
6. Club Cubana, Arpora
Club Cubana is one of the best nightclubs not just in Goa but in the whole of Asia. It is referred to as the “Nightclub in the Sky”. This very popular commercial club has been around for more than a decade. This huge, multi-level, open-air nightclub is situated between Baga and Anjuna beaches on the Arpora Hill near the Saturday Night Market. Club Cubana is a bit of a maze with a pool and Jacuzzi in its centre and dance floors and chill-out areas all under the twinkling lights. The cover charge includes unlimited drinks so it’s sure to be a big night out. Wednesday is Ladies night, the club’s biggest evening that offers free entry and drinks for girls.
7. Tito’s Lane, Baga
Tit’os is a well known brand name when it comes to clubbing in Goa. The club is famous for its Bollywood music and a huge dance floor. The beaches of Baga and Calangute are the most popular is Goa and Tito’s Lane in Baga is the most famous clubbing strip in Goa which is lined with bars, restaurants, tattooists and souvenir shops blasting out the latest Bollywood hits. This famous Greek fine-dining restaurant also throws fabulous parties every night of the week, with live dance performances and DJs.
